Influence of EU investment subsidies on economic performance of grape growers in the South Moravian region

The objective of the diploma thesis is to identify effects of EU direct investment subsidies on the economic performance of grape growers being active in the South Moravian region. The appropriate methodology will be drafted so that it is possible to elaborate the thesis and to meet its objectives. The thesis is structured according to formal conventional requirements into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is based on research of literature and internet information sources. In order to achieve the stated goal the sample of firms will be run through financial analysis. The sample consists of nine firms and the examined period is seven years. Both classical and modern approaches for assessing the economic performance will be used. The partial results will be verified via statistical and econometric methods and respective conclusions will be formulated in order to fulfill the objective of the diploma thesis
