Corporate social responsibility in small and medium enterprises

This bachelor thesis is focused on corporate social responsibility in small and medium enterprises. Corporate social responsibility is voluntary commitment of companies behave responsible. European commission says that, even if SME don't use term CSR, the close relationship with society makes them socially responsible. In thesis is analyzed small enterprise with 20 employees. Company PONY AUTO trend s. r. o. is the biggest Czech producer of sleeping modules and spoilers for commercial vehicles. Analysis was based on structured interview with owners of the company and production manager. Another data was gained from quantitative research -- questionnaire, which was distributed to employees in company. Company does not have CSR concept implemented into corporate strategy. Anyway, there was found, that company unwittingly behave according all three parts of triple bottom line. For economical area there was recommended implementation of ethic code. In social part was recommended to organize teambuilding with emphasis on communication and establishment of corporate fund. Based on the results, it was confirmed allegations of European Commission
