Prokrastinace jako stalý problém mezi studenty: analýza situace v Jihomoravském regionu

This bachelor thesis deals with a problem of chronic procrastination which makes people, especially students, to postpone given tasks. This behavior leads to stress, decrease of self-esteem and in poor results. This work focuses on academic procrastination among students in South Moravian region. The theoretical part shows different views from different researchers on procrastination, what types of procrastinations and what kind of procrastinators are there, what are the causes and how to deal with it. There is also a demography of South Moravian region and all the academic data that could be found for this region. The research part of this bachelor thesis measures what is the level of procrastination among students. For the measurement, Lay's (1986) questions were used and the results were compared to one another. The comparison of results from this work to results from another research has been done and analyzed
