This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of possible usage of the concept "Community-based tourism" in the selected community Llaqquepata in Peru as the option for improving their socio-economic situation and the living standards. This the-sis concludes with the specific developing proposals for implementation of the concept of community-based tourism with regards to real conditions and the nature of the se-lected community. Implementation of community-based tourism in this area has the potential to increase and diversify economic income in this rural community
