Analýza struktury odvětví ve vybraném regionu

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of the structure of the economy in the South Moravian Region. It also examines the influence of selected industries in the development of the region. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definitions of the topic and explanation of terms associated with the region, regional development, the economy and also with the method of analysis of the concentration, specialization and correlation. Following comparison of the development of the South Moravian Region with the whole Czech Republic was given by selected indicators - GDP, unemployment and average wages. At the same time an overview of the organizational structure of companies, was created by comparing the organizational form, their scope and the number of employees. Provided recommendations, which are based on the research and results of the analyses, should lead to an improvement in the economic situation of the region and its development
