Ballet school of Olga Kyndlová, State opera Prague

This bachelor´s thesis describes the education in the Ballet school of Olga Kyndlová in The State Opera in Prague, whose goal is to prepare its students for studying at a dance conservatory. There are the descriptions of all the lessons, which principles of education are used in this school and which goals the education has. This thesis contains the summary of other activities and achievements of the students of this school at dance competitions and performances. One of the chapters is dedicated to the characteristics of the dance teacher´s features and skills and then what should be important for them during the education of students, and subsequently there is a description of the demands for the acceptance of a student to a dance conservatory. In the last part of this thesis are presented graphs with results from questionnaires which were given to current students of The Ballet school of Olga Kyndlová. The questions were focused on the student´s satisfaction with the process of education, their own opinions and plans for the future
