Media issues in the Czech cultural and social science journals of the 19th century.

This thesis deals with media issues and its reflection on Czech cultural and social science journals of the 19th century. The first part focuses on the problems of printing in the 19th century and chosen personalities of this time. The second part deals with the magazines Čas, Osvěta, Naše doba, Ruch and Lumír. The goal of the work is to provide an overview of the theoretical views on the media, as they were published in these journals. It will be based on a content and comparative analysis. The thesis also shows how the media was described and what was the role of the media in the 19th century society. The proposal to include the mentioned topic in media education lessons in primary school will be introduced in the final part of this thesis
