Brownfields and Tourism Development - Visitors´ Preferences Exampled on Brno City

The article deals with issue of brownfields regeneration with special attention to brownfields redevelopment in tourism and leisure time activities. With connection to the theoretical discussion, there are presented the results of the field research with visit ors of the selected case study areas located on the territory pf Brno City (Czech Republic). The objective of this questionnaire survey was to identify the answer to the question how the new brownfield use in for tourism is perceived among visitors and ide ntify potential of the different types of brownfields from visitors ’ perspective.
