The speech of the computer games players

The bachelor thesis aims to map the speech on the computer gamers in detail. This community consists of people of various age and social status and their number is constantly growing. This group communicates mainly on the internet mostly by written means with a specific slang. The main goal is to research the lexical units, which are associated with the researched slang (general names, games characteristics, special names appearing only in concrete games). Lexical units will be sorted by various criteria, mostly by the game genre. The theoretical part is based on the available professional literature. The thesis will contain a vocabulary of gathered lexical units with explanation of their meaning
