Cultural policy in the Czech republic

The thesis deals with an existence and a development of cultural policy in the Czech republic. It compares the only two official documents declaring cultural policy: Kulturní politika (for years 2001 - 2005) and Státní kulturní politika na léta 2009 - 2014. There is analysed the formal aspect, content, meaning and implementation of both policies. The thesis also defines the relationship of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech republic to culture, methods of financing and legislative conditions for culture in the Czech Republic. For a comprehensive picture of cultural policy there is explained process of the political cycle and described the different phases of creation of public policy. The work also includes an annex of tables
