Czech emigration to Latin America - significant figures and expatriate associations

The object of this bachelor thesis is introduction to the issues of Czech emigration to Latin America. First part of the work is dedicated to outline the history of emigration to Latin America and define the most common destinations of Czech compatriots. Second part is dedicated to the important compatriots who have been acting on the region of Latin America. Next chapter deals with the association activity of the compatriots, defines the reasons of founding of these associations and their activity in these days. The last part of the work is focused on the issues of relationship between compatriots and the contemporary Czech state and support, which is given to the compatriots from the part of Czech Republic
