The aim of my thesis was to introduce you to using research to the cultivation of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). Cultivation of barley, I mean everything from the biological characteristics through soil preparation to planting and harvesting. For this search, I used books by Czech authors who write on this subject, as I used articles of foreign authors writing about issues influence of fertilization on spring barley, and I took advantage of practical experience with the cultivation of spring barley agronomists working in the company ZKS AGRO Zahořany. I tried to encompass the whole issue of growing spring barley and all carefully recorded
