Metamophosis of slovak auctorial documentary film and its society reflexion

Slovak documentary film, as well as the slovaks themselves, were searching for identity. This way was limited and signed by politic regimes, or financial and institutional restrictions. The work will follow auctorial creative documentary films which were reflecting current society. It's not only tendentious critic movies, in what were slovak directors developing during that time. They were touched by the different eras and different teachers/older directors. Thats why is this work analyzing the period of time from the end of seventies till nowadays ? the period of time where everything was changing ? styles, regimes, possibilities, but also where started some kind of continuity of slovak documentary poetics
