The influence of the musical education on the development of children of the preschool age. The contribution of the Orff-Schulwerk to the holistic growth of a child.

The work is concerned with the influence of the music and musical education on the development of children in the age of kindergarten. It is about the main principles of the German composer and teacher Carl Orff and his attitude to every child and his individuality. It is totalling segmented into 5 chapters. The first two chapters generally speak about the growth of children in a preschool age and the influence of music on the development of the musical and non-musical skills. The third chapter is devoted to the personality and work of Carl Orff. The next chapter describes the basic principles of Orff-Schulwerk. It is described the game on body there and it acquaints us with the tools of instruments of Orff. The final chapter acquaints us with the Czech adaptation of Schulwerk which was published under the name the Czech school of Orff and the activity of the Czech Orff society
