Multiculturalism and immigration in context of the Pilsen region

In my thesis I deal with issues of multiculturalism and immigration in the Pilsen Region. My work is divided into two parts. The first part deals with basic concepts related to the issue of multiculturalism. This is the definition of multiculturalism, its types and tools. Examples of functional multiculturalism and opponents of this idea at all. Under immigration then surveys the most abundant group of foreigners in the Czech Republic and the political situation in the country. Specifically, I focus on the Pilsen Region in relation to the most numerous group of foreigners at all angles of view. In the second part, the results of the survey, which focused on high school students awareness of the most representative groups of foreigners in the Czech Republic, their general knowledge of the subject and opinions on coexistence with foreigners. There is the practical part also view the other party, which was obtained by controlled interviews carried out with representatives of the three most numerously represented groups of foreigners in the Czech Republic
