School preparation of children from pre-school alternative type (Mary Montessori)

The Thesis is centered on comparing school preparation of children from classic day-care center and the kinder garden of Montessori type. The theoretical part is dedicated to the character of Maria Montessori and her pedagogical principles and opinions. Further the thesis describes didactic tools, which are used during Montessori lessons. The practical part is focused on comparing preparation of children from classical and Montessori day-care in the matter of school attendance. There are exploited the lesson´s materials and tools, which are used by children. Another indicator should be structured discussions, questionnaires and the pedagogues opinions
