Growth of emotional intelligence in the preschool years

The work is created on the topic of emotional intelligence and its development in preschoolers. The theoretical part deals with the clarification of the terms emotion, emotional intelligence and its importance in human life, personality of the teacher. In the practical part of the research carried out in nursery school with a focus on awareness among educators, about the issue of emotional intelligence and its marshaler into the educational process. The method used is qualitative observations made supplemented by interviews with individual teachers. Based on the experience of my teaching practice, I provide a program to develop emotional skills of preschool children. In conclusion, the thesis is summarized on whether and what extent the nursery school teachers with emotional intelligence work
