Maths make music! Interdisciplinary learning with mathematics and music in primary school

Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit interdisziplinären Aspekten der beiden Fachwissenschaften Mathematik und Musik. Außerdem werden Möglichkeiten einer Verbindung von Mathematik und Musik im Unterricht beleuchtet. Ausgehend von einigen Studien der Psychologie, die Musik als wertvolles Element für den Unterricht und die Erziehung beurteilen, wird im Rahmen dieser Zulassungsarbeit die Verknüpfung von Mathematik und Musik anhand einiger Unterrichtseinheiten für die erste Klasse geplant, in die Praxis umgesetzt und reflektiert. Insbesondere wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob sich die Fächerverbindung gerade auch für den Anfangsunterricht eignet und welche Möglichkeiten sich für eine sinnvolle Verbindung von Mathematik und Musik bieten.This paper discusses the interdisciplinary aspects of the sciences mathematics and music. Additionally, options for connecting mathematics and music in education are pointed out. Based on some psychological studies, which characterize music as a valuable element for teaching and education, the combination of mathematics and music is planned, implemented and reflected by means of several teaching units. In particular, it is pursued the question if the association of the two subjects is suitable for elementary instruction in primary school and which opportunities provide a meaningful connection of mathematics and music
