This volume presents aspects of cross-cultural and intercultural competence in foreign language learning from a Czech-German viewpoint. The main focus lies on the historical, linguistic and current intercultural relationships between the Czech Republic and Germany, while discussing the role of English as a means of communication between two different cultures and languages.
