Child personality conception in a kindergarten

The topic of this dissertation focuses on the concept of child?s personality in the kindergarten in the context of personalized preschool education. The theoretical part of this work informs the reader about the basic assumptions of the concept of child?s personality and the most important age related characteristics which is important to consider in the preschool education. The next section explains the limitations related to the child?s personality realisation in kindergartens and outlines the definitions of personal approach and individualization of education. The results from qualitative research that were used to identify the real environment and attitudes of teachers towards a realization of child?s personality in preschool education are presented in the practical part of this dissertation. Lastly, the main issues developed as a result of teachers trying to incorporate the concept of child?s personality to preschool education are highlighted
