Images of Animals and Their Roles in Poems of Emily Dickinson

The thesis focuses on images of animals, their roles and meanings in the poems of Emily Dickinson. Starting with Dickinson and her relationship to animals, I will move to general characteristic of images and then to images of animals, which are at first described generally, then I will aim on the particular groups of animals. The ideas said above are demonstrated on the interpretations of poems, which are included in the thesis
