This bachelor thesis deals with lifestyle research of the population of the Czech Republic and ABCDE classifications used in the Czech market, as possible indicators for society segmentation in marketing. The first theoretical part defines the essential concepts of sociology and marketing. The second practical part analyzes specific data of leisure time activities, household facilities and ABCDE classification. The third part, the conclusion is the linking of theoretical knowledge as well as practical and assessment of the impact and utility of this knowledge in the marketing area
