Analysis of the family needs in tourism market in the High Tatras region

The diploma thesis analyzes the needs and requirements of families with children as a segment of tourism in the High Tatras region.The thesis is divided into three chapters, the first chapter defines the basic theoretical concepts of tourism and focuses on the general characteristics of the family as the subject of the analysis. The second chapter explains the behavior of families in the tourism market and identifies its basic needs. The third chapter focuses on the region of High Tatras, first analyzes the services aimed at families segment, and then analyses the needs of the segment by own questionnaire survey. In conclusion, the paper evaluates all the knowledge and suggests possible measures to develop family tourism in the High Tatras region
