The Swiss economy in the early 21st century

The bachelor thesis deals with the Swiss economy in the early 21st century. The economy of Switzerland is one of the most developed in the world, but recent events such as the eurozone debt crisis could threaten its position. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state of the Swiss economy, while defining the main sources of risks and predicting the future development of the Swiss economy. A significiant part of the thesis also focuses on the characteristics of each sector in Switzerland. The first chapter deals with the general characteristic of Switzerland and analysis of its current economy. The next chapter is focused on the sectors of economy, foreign trade and on the attitude of Switzerland to the issues of economic and politic integrations. The third part is devoted to the description of the prospects of the Swiss economy, within which I define the main sources of risks and suggest the measures to be taken to protect the Swiss economy from these risks.
