An analysis of the possible consequences of Russia's accession to the WTO.

Russia's entry to the WTO opens a new page in the countries economical life, which market is gradually opening. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the entry impact on the various economic sectors and economy as a whole, to evaluate the impacts extent and to show advantages and disadvantages, the membership brings. The Bachelor Thesis examines trends and structural problems of the Russian economy and trade, changes in tariff rates after the accession, and adaptation to changes after joining WTO. The Thesis deals with the problem of Dutch disease in Russia, the development of the commodity structure of Russian trade, and GDP structure changes during the first half-year of the membership in the organization
