Impact of the Global Economic Crisis on Trade Relationships between the CR and Germany

This bachelor's thesis, entitled "Impact of the Global Economic Crisis on Trade Relationships between the CR and Germany", primarily focuses on the analysis of quantitative changes in the structure of mutual trade exchanges. Data provided by the Czech Statistical Office for the 2008-2012 period was used for the analysis. Year-on-year changes in trade volume of individual commodity groups using the SITC classification were examined along with those of individual groups of services. The thesis contains a prediction of future export development for all four quarters of 2013, based upon a regression analysis of summary quarterly export values from 1993 to present. The thesis allows for a comprehensive overview of the impact the crisis has had on the trade relationship with the Czech Republic's key business partner. It also outlines the potential future development of export volume values in the forthcoming period
