Personnel composition of the city council in Netolice in the seventeenth century.

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the personnel composition and the recovery of the city council in Netolice in the seventeenth century because only few studies have been pursued on this topic. In my opinion it is one of the most important components of the operation of the towns and villages and it should not be ignored. I am going to outline the historical and political situation and then I am going to reconstruct the personnel composition of the city council of the South Bohemian town Netolice in the second part of the seventeenth century. The main sources were mostly the councillor protocols of the city council from 1693 till 1690 saved in State City Archive Prachatice in the fund Archive of the town Netolice. I am going to deal with the structure of the city administration (the city council, the reeve, the village elder). I am going to compare it with the situation in other towns or cities in early modern age. Then I am going to deal with the ceremonial of the elections and recoveries of the city council and I am going to try to reconstruct its proces and everything that belonged to it. The last part of my thesis concerns the compositin of the city council in chosen time period. The result should be the reconstuction of the composition of the political elites in Netolice which can become the ?springboard? to their detailed professional, social and property analysis in other qualifying thesis
