Organic chemicals from biomass

This bachelor thesis follow up the issue of biotechnology of biomass in terms of use biomass as a feedstock for the production of applications for the chemical, food and energy industries. From a brief overview of some very basic, but most important, products, through the story of lignocellulosic rafineries, it is technology and the advantages and disadvantages to the third generation biofuels is a summary of the work of knowledge of Czech and foreign experts over the past few years. Part of this work are not only examples of already operate technologies and applications, as well as proposals that have unfortunately been put into practice, as well as the various challenges posed by the effort to replace conventional technologies, especially petrochemical, new technologies
