Cattle are typical herd animals. The herd´s activity in the pasture was measured by pedometers. The pedometer records the number of movements per one hour. Signals from the pedometers are caught by an aerial and transmitted to a PC with the requisite software. The movement activities of the animals were analysed during daytime in May and June 2012. The data were used to find relations between the movement activities or mother-cows and their calves and movement activities of the calves with respect to their age and sex
