History of treatment of textile materials

This thesis is focused on the origins and development of the textile industry, the production-oriented knitwear fabrics. It deals with the beginning of knitting and the gradual development of mechanization in this field. The history of the knitting industry in Czech Republic is transferred with the company Jitex Písek which represents one of the greatest Czech textile enterprises.
