The possibilities of free-time activities for people living in senior homes or homes with special regime in Pilsen

In my bachelor thesis I dealt with the current state of activation activities offered in retirement homes and homes with special regime in the city of Pilsen and changing trends within five years. Especially, my interest was focused on getting to know the difference of the socially therapeutic and activation activities among the homes, but I also wanted to find out whether the official offer of each home, which is mentioned in publicly available documents and sources, differs from the leisure activities provided in reality. The target of my work was the mutual comparison of offers of leisure activities, which are provided by Pilsner homes, and the survey of interest in these activation activities of the users of social service. The method of quality survey was used for accomplishing the thesis. An analysis of socially therapeutic and leisure activities was carried out as well as a secondary analysis of activity materials.
