The thesis deals with the comparison of practice of philosophy for children in primary school and kindergarten in Dubné with practice of philosophy in children?s home in Boršov nad Vltavou. Theoretical part of thesis introduces the theories of cognitive development and prefers one of them. The thesis defends an ability of children to philosophize. The thesis also briefly introduces Program of philosophy for children and information on its creation. The thesis describes above mentioned types of institutions and their role in leisure time of children. Practical part of thesis contains the comparison of both practices on the base of planning, preparation and comparison of final results
