Motivation of Moving Activities in Kindergarten

My thesis is based on a current trend to support physical movement of children. The theoretical part deals with the importance of physical movement for physical and mental devepment of a child and with the level of motor skills at pre-school age and its development. Conditions, methods and forms of implementation of physical movement in a kindergarten are dealt with in this part. One of subchapters deals with motivation of a child. The practical part deals with a set of motivating exercises for children in a kindergarten which were being tested with the same group of children. Results show that there are differences in children´s reaction to motivating and non-motivating exercises. Tests of exercises were evaluated according to a set of in advance developed criteria
