The Mazahua people are one of the most important indigenous culture from central Mexico, it is due to territorial extent and by number of mazahua speakers. In State of Mexico they are distributed in all north region which it is characterized by cold weather, temperate forest and the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. Unfortunately, the marginalization forces people to migrate to big cities such as Mexico, Toluca and Queretaro and also to USA when they travel to outside of the country almost always as illegal. The migration is a complex phenomenon and little has been explored knowledge linked to medicinal plants as an element of the cultural identity, it could be measured in order to evaluate the cultural resilience against external factor...
