Dramatherapy as a tool for integration of persons with mental disabilities

The main topic of this bachelor theses is the usage of the drama education during the work with mentally handicapped people. The theoretical part includes the term drama education, mental handicap but also outlines the difference between the drama education and the dramatherapy. A very important part is a brief explanation of the methods and the aims of the drama education suitable for the work with the target group of the clients. The practical part is a month-long project focused on the work with mentally handicaped people. Using appropriate activities is to achieve the aim and assist in positive development of the individuals, integrate them into the society and make them better informed during the ordinary activities in life of each human being. The possibility to aplicate this project was enabled to me by the drama company KULA in Jičín
