The work deals with the exploration of public awareness regarding the basic knowledgeand consumption of cereal. The theoretical part describes the composition of cereals and their utilization for human consumption. It also deals with the nutritional value of cereals and health aspects of eating cereal. Among other things, the important parts of this work include the labeling of productsmade from cereals, important for market orientation and cereals in the prevention of civilization diseases.
