The theoretical part of the term paper is divided into three basic parts. The first part refers about the basic distinction of the vegetable sorts in the market, including the description of the major representatives. The second part consists of the nutrition characteristics of the vegetable and its importance for the health. The third part then describes the current situation in production and vegetable supply in the Czech Republic. The methodical part is focused on the creation, data entry and further processing of the questionnaire in order to gather the data about the popularity and vegetable consumption in the selected population sample.
