Analysis of women support in sport management and sport leadership in Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with positions of women in managing and control functions in sports industry in the Czech Republic. The aim is to find the reasons for women not to take such positions. The research set includes 150 women participating in the ?European Week of Sport and Relaxation for Women? and the 1st national seminar Women's International Leadership Development (WILD) in July 2011 in Hluboká nad Vltavou. The investigation is performed on the basis of questionnaires. The participants are from the whole Czech Republic. Based on processed results we can come to a conclusion that sport associations and sport practice in performance and top-performance sport should organise seminars related to managing positions in sports field in the Czech Republic. The conclusions also indicate that men have more time and that is why they win more recognition in managing functions
