Distance-decay effect of commuting on the example region Vysočina

The present thesis deals with the effect of distance decay in mobility to work and schools on the example of Vysočina region between 1991 and 2001. By setting the two representative centers of commuting, Jihlava and Třebíč, which means opposite extremes between selected years, there will be a deeper analysis of the relationships between the intensity of commuting by municipalities and their distances to the centers of settlements. A substantial part of the work is to evaluate the effect of distance decay on commuting to work and schools. And also assess changes in the catchment area centers range between censuses.
