The basic features of the economics of the Czech Republic in OECD indicators

The goal of this Bachelor´s thesis is to provide a basic overview of current developments in the economy of the Czech Republic in key indicators that are issued by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The methods used for this purpose are qualified heuristics that is used for the selection of economic indicators in the time series 2000-2010, and the method of selection and comparison of selected economic indicators, because some data and results, including their methodology, must be further confronted with the data and the results of other processing institutions (Eurostat, Czech Statistical Office). This thesis also includes some indicators of education that have a great and considerable influence on the economics of the Czech Republic. The practical part defines the main economic indicators such as gross domestic product, unemployment and inflation, their types and methodology. This part also includes the description of selected indicators of education. The practical part is devoted to the description of these indicators from 2000-2010
