Psychological study of motives leading to volunteering

This Bachelor thesis titled ?Psychological studies of motives leading to volunteering? deals with the motives, that lead potential volunteers to perform this volunteering activity. This project is divided into two major parts. The Theoretical chapter of this thesis handles the volunteering itself and the non-profit organizations from where the respondents come from. The following chapter focuses on motivation, its characteristics, definition and relation to volunteering. The final chapter is called ?Motivation for volunteering? connecting the previous two topics and creates the main foundation for the research part of this work. Then it describes inappropriate and suitable motives for performing volunteering activities, as well as previous czech and foreign research related to motivation for volunteering terms. The main core of the practical part of this thesis is the qualitative research, in which the open coding method was used to find the motives of the potential volunteers
