Assessment of school maturity

This bachelor thesis entitled ?Diagnostics of school maturity? is focusing on the problematics of preschool children development. Theoretical part characterizes preschool child and his psychological problematics. It is devoted to the definition of term ?school maturity?, ?school readiness? and to the individual components of school maturity. It also describes causes of school immaturity and reasons for postponement of school attendance. Practical part is focusing on evaluation of preschool children with diagnostic tests of school maturity. It includes casuistries of selected children (children with last year?s postponement of school attendance; children with this year?s proposed postponement). It also contains graphs and tables of selected children. Concluding part of the thesis describes and summarizes the results
