Evaluation of tourism development in Liberec region

The tourism is considered to be fast growing economic sector which has significant impact on regional development. The Czech Republic is a major European tourist destination and has good potential for further development. The thesis focuses on tourist development in the tourist areas of the Liberec region. The introductory part is focused on tourism from a theoretical perspective. The practical part is devoted to the status of tourism in the Czech Republic and the position of the Liberec region in the country. Liberec region has very favourable natural and cultural-historical prerequisites for the development of tourism, the best potential for its further development have the tourist areas: Jizera Mountains, Giant Mountains and Czech Paradise
