Language and style of Jan Balaban´s stories

The focal point of my thesis is going to be a language analysis of Jan Balabán´ short stories, speciffically collections called Možná, že odcházíme a Prázdniny, it means in English We Maybe Leave and Holidays. I am going to deal with specific language style means and their functions in Balabán´ texts. In my initial theoretical part I am going to introduce briefly functional style of art and theme which is significant for the writer. And more I would like to introduce the other parts of his work. In my practical part I am going to study the text from various linguistic levels, from phonetic, lexical, syntactic and morfological levels,. Analysis is going to be completed by parts of Balaban texts where I will explain language phenomena.The result of my thesis will be the language analysis of both collections and their comparison
