Development of applications for Android 3.0

This bachelor thesis is focused on new development features of Android 3.0 and Android API 11. The whole paper is divided into several chapters. The first chapter briefly pursues what Android is and what is its architecture. The second chapter describes basics of programming for Android necessary for understanding this thesis and also necessary for development of the most basic applications. The third one presents new features of Android 3.0 and Android API 11 from the developer point of view. Also there are many code-samples about how to work with these features. The final chapter demonstrates development of practical application named GPS planner. The chapter consists of application's description, graphical user interface analysis, definition of application's structure and code-samples of the GPS planner
