The development of the economyof Kazakhstan after gaining independence

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the development of the economy of Kazakhstan after the fall of the Soviet Union up to the present day. This thesis focuses on the specification of the Kazakh economy and industry from the beginning of the 1990s and on its importance at a regional and global level. First part describes obstacles and problems which Kazakhstan had to face after gaining independence. Then second part analyzes the progress of the main macroeconomic indicators. The next part of the work deals with the international trade relations with the key partners and the Czech Republic. The last part investigates the plans for the development of the economy in the near future. In the end there are made the conclusions of reforms made in the past 20 years and the present situation in the economy is described
