EU Energy Policy and Its Contribution to Energy Networks Stability

This bachelor thesis deals with EU energy policy and its potential to ensure a stability and security of energy networks. Key content of this thesis is a position analysis of EU's energy resources -- oil, natural gas and electricity in connection with EU's energy mix. These figures are compared with existing and proposed European energy infrastructure and with activities of EU in Trans-European energy networks, internal energy market and external dimension of energy policy. On the basis of the collected information there are evaluated particular potentials and tools of EU which can ensure the stability and security of energy networks
