Global economic and political influence of Brazil on the global economy

Countries Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa represent under the acronym BRICS a group of rapidly expanding and for the future very promising world economies. Their growing influence on a wide range of areas increases their potential to become major global players in the near future. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is according to the recent development of the global economy outlined in the first chapter and the analysis of current economic and political position of BRICS anchored in the second chapter to assess the outlook on future status of this group and to create an image of the future world order. The base body of work is focused on the largest economy of Latin American region, Brazil. To underline the importance of Brazil on the world stage, the third chapter emphasis on its role in international trade and activity in international organizations
