The impact of the Association for Transportation by Rope on winter tourism in the Czech Republic

The thesis analyses activities of the Association for Transportation by Rope, which is a professional body associating the operators of ski lifts and ski tows in ski resorts, mountain areas and towns. The thesis is dealing with the potential of winter tourism in the Czech Republic and it takes into consideration the research of Austrian company about Czech sporty people. The thesis also puts the emphasis on Czech ski resorts and their promotion. The conclusion includes characteristic of the role of the Assosiation in the past and in the present and describes cooperation of the Assosiation with other organizations for the purpose of improving conditions of operators of transportation by rope in the Czech Republic
