Impact of Renewable Energy Source Introduction on Energy System in the Czech Republic

This thesis analyse the impact of the renewable energy resources on the transmission and distribution networks in the Czech republic. The volatility changes based on the growth of the number of production places of this kind and other negative effects are being examined. The analysis has proved difficulties in transmission networks balance management and then problems with voltage quality supply by distribution companies. The international cooperation between transmission operators is also being analysed. This thesis proves that renewable resources and their implementation have significant economic impact not only within the meaning of higher production costs
